Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0399-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of San Jose. Project includes erosion repair to existing levee by installing 167 feet of sheet piles on both the west and east sides of the levee, north and south of the Pond A18 South Gate. Location of the sheet piles will be within the levee, between the levee crown and levee slope (not installed in water). The steel sheet piles will be driven using a vibratory pile driver. The levee crown will be regraded and voids between the sheet pile and the remaining section of levee will be backfilled with rock aggregate.
