Document Description
The proposed project consists of a request to construct two apartment buildings ranging between 3-5 stories in height and including a total of 184 units. The project includes the extension of Oak Street and Water Street North (within its boundaries), a new Class I multi-use path along the Petaluma River, and an emergency vehicle access roadway to the vicinity of Washington St. The initial study also considers, as a potential modification to the proposed project, the potential environmental effects of additional off-site public improvements consisting of the construction of Water St North from the project site's southern boundary to East Washington St. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 20-year General Lease – Public Agency Use through February 24, 2042
