Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0203-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to.the project Applicant, North River Apartments, LLC.The project is limited to the construction of a culvert outfall into the Petaluma river, consisting of a 30-inch high density polyurethane (HOPE) culvert that discharges onto a rock mat dissipator, all above the high tide line. The total impact of the outfall is approximately 199 square feet of temporary impact, seeing as there is already riprap in place over the entire footprint of the outfall. The existing riprap will be removed and replaced by the outfall structure. The project also consists of a retaining wall to support a small section of a sidewalk. The retaining wall and sidewalk will have a temporary impact of approximately 344 square feet and a permanent impact of approximately 308 square feet. The total impact to riparian habitat, permanent and temporary, is approximately 0.02 acres.
