- The Draft EIR considers two distinct projects. The proposed Sacramento Convention Center Renovation and Expansion Project will add exhibit space, meeting rooms, new lobbies, an outdoor amphitheater, and back-of-house uses to expand and renovate the existing Convention Center, allowing for more operational efficiency and increased number of events and attendees. The 15th/K St Hotel project will construct a 350-room, 24-story hotel adjacent to the SCC on the site of a surface parking lot on the southwest site of the K and 15th St intersection.
