The EIR will consider two distinct projects. The proposed Sacramento Convention Center Renovation and Expansion project (SCC Project) will add exhibit space, meeting rooms, new lobbies, an outdoor amphitheater, and back-of-house uses to expand and renovate the existing Convention Center, allowing for more operational efficiency and increased number of events and attendance. The 15th/K Street Hotel project (Hotel Project) will construct a 350-room, 24-story hotel adjacent to the Convention Center.
