California State University, Dominguez Hills - Campus Master Plan Revision

The project is the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH or University) Campus Master Plan Revision, which retains the previously approved future campus enrollment of 20,000 full-time equivalent students (FTES), while providing a framework for development of the University 's physical campus and its facilities to accommodate campus enrollment growth from its current enrollment of approximately 11,000 FTES to 20,000 FTES over a planning horizon extending to 2035. The project reflects the Increased Student Housing Project Alternative identified in the Final Environmental Impact Report. The project entails the development of new and expanded facilities in three areas of the 344-acre campus, including: (i) the Core Campus; (ii) University Village; and (iii) the StubHub Center (recently renamed as Dignity Health Center). The project's planned new facilities and improvements include the following: new academic and administrative facilities; student support facilities including student housing; athletic facilities; campus support facilities; parking, reconfigured campus entries; open space; retail uses; campus apartment housing; campus business park; reconfigured vehicle circulation; an increase in the seating capacity of Dignity Health Center Stadium; and reorientation of the building footprints of previously approved facilities in the Dignity Health Center.
