Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes addressing existing distribution and source capacity deficiencies by equipping the existing Well No. 5 with a new pump, booster pump system, hydropneumatic tank, site piping, and appurtenances to connect to a newly constructed 900,000 gallon steel water storage tank. The capacity of the existing drainage pond located on the Well No. 5 parcel will not substantially change, as material from the existing pond will be excavated to build the foundation for the storage tank, effectively maintaining the existing capacity of the drainage pond. The Project also includes replacement of approximately 12,000 linear feet of primarily 4-inch diameter asbestos/cement and steel pipeline with 8-inch diameter PVC pipeline, approximately 10 fire hydrants, a SCADA system, sectionalizing valves, water services, and other incidental items throughout the Water District.
