The OHMVR Division is approving grant funding for the development of an existing overflow parking area by improving and expanding the facility to better accommodate future uses. Project will increase the overflow parking area by approx. 5,500 sq. ft. to improve usable space to serve the parking demand within the park. The improvements will include re-grading for better drainage, and creation of a vegetated buffer to reduce siltation and also capture and filter sheet flow/stormwater run off from the parking lot. The project also involves construction of a 1200 sq. ft. "butler building" (metal utility building) maintenance shop to replace temporary structures.
