Document Description
The purpose of this project is reforestation of non-stocked and under stocked areas burned by the 2001 Star Fire to increase sequestration of carbon. The treatments include brush control through mastication, followed by planting of trees, then herbicide treatment of competing vegetation. All herbicide will be used in accordance with Department of Pesticide Regulations and Licensed PCA consultation. The project is located on lands that were either understocked or non-stocked as a result of the Star Fire.
