Document Description
The proposed project includes repairing damage to Bairds Rd that occurred during a storm event, where rapidly moving water washed away the headwall and undermined the asphalt road surface, sub base, base, and fill behind the headwall. The culvert will be replaced and the road will be repaired to pre-storm conditions.

After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the county of Tuolumne has determined that the project is statutorily exempt from review under CEQA pursuant to section 15269 and section 15301 of the State CEQA guidelines b/c emergency repair and restoration projects are exempt as defined in section 15269 and b/c Bairds Rd is an existing roadway facility as defined in section 15301.
