Document Description
Floodwater has over-saturated the sub-grade of Old Wards Ferry Road, damaging the asphalt road surface, sub-base, and base materials, leaving large depressions and cracks throughout the roadway, totaling 1,600 sf. The proposed project includes the removal and replacement of aggregate base materials and asphalt pavement within the existing geometry of the roadway.

After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the county of Tuolumne has determined that the project is statutorily exempt from review under CEQA pursuant to section 15269 and section 15301 of the State CEQA guidelines b/c emergency repair and restoration projects are exempt as defined in section 15269 and b/c Old Wards Ferry Rd is an existing roadway facility as defined in section 15301.
