Document Description
Floodwaters washed over a section of Sunny Circle, allowing saturation to infiltrate the road subgrade and damage the roadway surface, leaving large depressions and cracks in the roadway surface. The proposed project includes the replacement of approx 2,975 sf of aggregate base materials and asphalt pavement.

After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the county of Tuolumne has determined that the project is statutorily exempt from review under CEQA pursuant to section 15269 and section 15301 of the State CEQA guidelines b/c emergency repair and restoration projects are exempt as defined in section 15269 and b/c Sunny Circle is an existing roadway facility as defined in section 15301.
