Document Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is proposing to replace a 30-foot long, 42-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe, (CMP) culvert carrying the headwaters to Dutch Bill Creek under Occidental Fire Station (FS). On the inlet side the CMP has eroded and scoured. The driveway has been barricaded and gated to prevent further use and vehicular loading. The existing capacity of the culvert is inadequate to convey a 100-year storm event so the new culvert will be higher capacity 54-inch CMP low head culvert with grouted rock headwalls on the upstream and downstream ends.
