Construction will require pavement grinding to a maximum of 6 inches in depth and overlay of up to 6 inches of new concrete pavement in order to correct existing steep slopes and conform to existing sidewalk and curb elevations. Replacement or repair of existing landscaping and irrigation disturbed by the project will also is conducted, as needed. One 8-inch diameter landscape tree will be permanently removed to accommodate the wider sidewalk. The project is anticipated to be completed within about one month, beginning in August and ending in September, 2017. No work will be conducted during the rainy season.
