Document Description
SWRCB as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. The Farm Mutual Water Company completed construction of 4 sub-projects from 1962-2017. Sub project 1, the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District Interconnection constructed in 1977, is able to supply up to 2,000 gallons per minute EVMWD water to the FMWC through the Lower Zone reservoir and the farm pump station. Sub project 2, the Farm Pump Station constructed in 1977 and upgrade in 2011, has 3 pumps that pump water from the lower zone to the upper zone. The system also has a pressure relief valve station. Sub project 3 the 0.17 million gallon lower zone reservoir, was constructed in 1962 and refurbished in 2013. Water from well 2 is blended with the purchased EVMWD water to reduce arsenic levels in water supplied to customers. Monitoring is conducted regularly. Sub project 4, the 0.63 million gallon Olive Grove Reservoir 1, was constructed in 1984 and refurbished in 2011. The overall project, that includes all 4 sub projects, will provide for the operation of these facilities.
