Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0149-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Brent Knapek. The project is limited to three encroachments. Two encroachments are for water diversion from unnamed tributaries to the Mattole Rover. One is for diversion using an existing facility from a spring for domestic use and the other is for diversion from an existing well to a pond for storage and irrigation. Work for both diversions will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The third encroachment is to stabilize the banks at the outlet of a wetland. Work for this project will include placement of rock armoring as necessary to minimize head cutting.
