The project is limited to three encroachments. Two encroachments are for water diversion from unnamed tributaries to the Mattole Rover. One is for diversion using an existing facility from a spring for domestic use and the other is for diversion from an existing well to a pond for storage and irrigation. Work for both diversions will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The third encroachment is to stabilize the banks at the outlet of a wetland. Work for this project will include placement of rock armoring as necessary to minimize head cutting.
