Document Description
Timber portions of Brookwood bridge require maintenance due to decay, deterioration, and damage from wood-boring beetles. Proposed Project activities include fumigation, replacement of the pedestrian walkway and handrail, traffic railing, and untreated portions of the bridge deck system and roofing, repainting the exterior of the timber housing structure, construction of a temporary flatcar bridge detour to allow traffic to cross Jacoby Creek during rehabilitation activities; and construction of a debris containment structure in Jacoby Creek to capture and prevent discharge to Jacoby Creek of any materials or pesticides released during bridge rehabilitation activities.
