Document Description
The project is emergency rehabilitation and repair work of 2.9 miles of existing levee along the western side of the Feather River in Yuba City. The project will repair deficiencies in flood protection for the existing Feather River Levee, which were exacerbated by the Oroville Dam failure event. Recent inspection of the levee identified that the levee permits under-seepage. SBFCA engineers determined this under-seepage results in the need for emergency repairs for the protection of adjacent properties and persons.
