The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an immediate repair of a water line supply at the Caples Lake Maintenance Staion on State Route (SR) 88 at postmile (PM) 2.2 in Alpine County. he purpose of this project is to immediately repair the water supply line near the fuel tanks. The need of this project is critical to the operation needs of the Caples Lake Maintenance Yard and to prevent or mitigate the loss, impairment of life, property or essential public services.
