Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to state law and University of California Procedures for Implementation of CEQA, the proposed project is categorically exempt under Article 19, Section 15306, Class 6, information Collection. The project is exempt because it consists of date collection and research activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. In addition, the project is exempt under Class 11, Accessory Structures where the project would install a minor structure (a charging station) accessory to existing commercial facilities. Furthermore, per CEQA Section 15300.2, none off the exceptions to a Categorical Exemption would apply.
