Document Description
Maintenance on Existing Bridge and Well Head: The proposed action consists of two tasks. The first task is to maintain adequate clearance under the Camp 19 Bridge crossing to prevent sediment frim building up underneath it and potentially threatening its structural integrity during heavy rains and flood events. The second task is to maintain the existing berms protecting the well site on the north side of the Camp.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project consists of periodic, as-needed maintenance of: 1) creek bed of the East Fork of the San Gabriel River within 300 feet up and downstream of the Camp 19 bridge crossing and 2) berms immediately surrounding the water well. Maintenance will conducted outside of the fish spawning season. Resource Agency permits will be obtained prior to the commencement of work consistent with the federal Clean Water Act Section 404 and 401, and Section 1600 of the State Fish and Game Code. The Project will be ensure that all contractors adhere to all the measures outlined on the issued permits.
