Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement NO. 1600-2017-0109-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Sonoma County Water Agency. The project is limited to repairing and rehabilitating and existing concrete box culvert that contains an underground section of Santa Rosa Creek extending from E Street to Santa Rosa Avenue. The culvert to be repaired is 14-feet by 14.5 feet and approximately 1,435 feet long. At most, about 310 cubic yards of materials (mostly concrete/mortar with some epoxy) will be used to repair the damage. A bonding agent will be applied to existing concrete along with the work area, a temporary diversion system to isolate and dewater the site will be put in place. This may include the use of sandbags, bulk bags, cofferdams, sediment control barriers, sump pumps, temporary pipelines, rock or gravel placement, and other methods.
