Document Description
RWQCB, San Diego Region is issuing a clean water act section 401 water quality certification (cert. no. R9-2016-0167) to the project applicant, Coronado Cays Homeowners Association. The applicant proposes to perform maintenance of existing headwalls through the placement of 30 cy of clean course sand fill with minimal fines along 100 lf of headwall within the Coronado Cays. The purpose of the fill is to restore the buttress berm profile that supports the headwall and prevent structural failure of the headwall. The project also includes installation of 50 modular anchors into the headwall and repair of cracks and spalling in the wall, as necessary, along 400 lf within the Coronado Cays.
