Document Description
The proposed project proposes the demolition and removal of an approximately 1,000 square foot, uninhabitable, rotten, wood framed house. The house is only a few feet from an unstable bank of Hester Creek. The house building materials have been sampled and found to have asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paints that require abatement prior to demolition. The State will retain contractors to carry out hazardous material abatement and demolition of the house. The septic tank will also be removed and utility pipes extending to and from the house will be removed to the extent feasible.
