- The District proposes to repair a softball field and convert a second softball field into two multi-use fields at Nicholas Park. Repairs and conversion of the softball fields include removing the existing turf and replacing it with a drought tolerant fescue seed mix, addition and/or removal of infield clay, mending or replacing backstops, benches, and/or bleachers, removal of the two existing outfield fences, regrading of the fields, redesigning the site drainage, relocating the existing sports lights and converting them to LEDs.
