Caltrans is proposing a scour mitigation project at two different locations in Sacramento County: at the American River Bridge on SR 160 north of downtown Sacramento and at the Lagoon Creek Bridge on SR 99 north of Twin Cities Rd in southern Sacramento County. The Bridge inspection Reports for these structures indicate that scour mitigation work is needed. The work will ensure that the structures will continue to perform adequately. There is one build alternative at the SR 160 American River Bridge (scour mitigation) and one at the SR 99 Lagoon Creek Bridge (bridge replacement.
