The purpose of the project is to repair scour areas on the toe of the Our House Diversion Dam spill apron. Repair work would take place in the following steps: 1) install water diversion; 2) pressure wash the scour area with water to clean the area and expose sound concrete; 3) drill dowels into the concrete; 4) epoxy dowels into the holes; 5) mobilize a concrete pump and hoses to a level area near the apron, all underlain with polyethylene plastic sheeting for ground protection; 6) apply bonding agent on the surface to receive shotcrete; 7) place shotcrete; 8) clean up shotcrete rebound and remove the plastic sheeting; 9) allow shotcrete to cure; and 10) remove water diversion (after completion of mechanical sediment removal work). Additionally, the anchorages of the access bridge of the dam will be repaired simultaneously.
