CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2018-0052-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game code to the project Applicant, Reclamation District No. 341, as represented by Juan Mercado, Jr.
Project is limited to rehabilitation of the waterside levee between approximate levee stations 945+50 and 950+50 on Sherman Island along Horseshoe Bend of the Sacramento River. The project will repair the levee to meet current U.S. Army Corps of Engineers standards, install rock slope protection along approx. 500 linear feet of the waterside levee slope, and restore habitat on the waterside levee slope. Repair work will be confined to the water side of the levee. No dewatering/diversion is proposed.
