- Document Description
- Note: TRPA Draft EIS & Review Per Lead TRPA has prepared a set of policy concepts to guide resource management and development within the shorezone and lakezone of Lake Tahoe. These concepts would be implemented through amendments to the TRPA Code of Ordinances. The goal of the Shoreline Plan is to enhance the recreational experience along Lake Tahoe's shores while protecting the environment. The Shoreline Plan would authorize and limit the number of new private and public shoreline facilities (e.g., piers and buoys), establish development standards for shoreline facilities, and enact implementation programs to protect and enhance resource conditions.
