Document Description
The county of Calaveras, in cooperation with Caltrans, is planning to replace the existing bridge at Schaad Rd over Forest Creek. The project site is an approx 4.54 acre area located 400 ft south of the intersection of Schaad Rd and Fischer Ranch Rd in unincorporated, northeast Calaveras county. The purpose of the project is to eliminate substandard load limits of the existing bridge and to bring the bridge to current geometrical and structural standards. The proposed project is needed to provide local workers, residents, motorists, pedestrians and emergency vehicles a safe, all-weather path of travel across Forest Creek.
