Document Description
The project includes excavation of areas of soil, cement kiln dust (CKD), and concrete with concentrations above screening levels were identified. Upon DTSC approval, these areas will be excavated, characterized, and evaluated for offsite disposal or reuse onsite. Demolition of onsite structures, grading of site soils, dust control and air monitoring will all be conducted in accordance with the Demolition Plan and Response Plan. The City of Jurupa Valley prepared an Environmental Impact Report Agua Mansa Commerce Park Specific Plan, which includes an analysis of the activities that will be conducted as part of the Riverside Cement Agua Mansa Commerce Park project as detailed in the Response Plan. The City Council passed a Resolution on April 16, 2020 certifying the final Environmental Impact Report, adopting findings pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, adopting a Statement of Overriding Considerations, and adopting a Mitigation Monitoring And Reporting Program for a 4.4 million square foot industrial park project (Agua Mansa Commerce Park Specific Plan; State Clearinghouse No. 2017071034).
