Document Description
The project includes a specific plan, general plan amendment (to modify the current language presented in LUE Policy 6.4.7.H to allow for hillside development above the 150-ft elevation), and related actions that would allow for the development of the Froom Ranch Specific Plan Area including annexation into the city of San Luis Obispo. Project includes a life plan community known as Villaggio, which would provide a variety of unity types for independent senior housing as well as access to higher levels of care. Additional residential uses in the northern portion of the site will be multiple-family and some commercial development is proposed in the northeast portion of the site near Los Osos Valley Rd. The project includes a Neighborhood Trailhead Park, which may incorporate on-site historic structures, and 51% of the site would be open space.
