Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SBA-32089-R5), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the Project Applicant, VWV, LLC. The Project is the demolition and restoration of a portion of the existing greenhouses and accessory structures, relocation of security fencing, and modification of access adjacent to Arroyo Paredon Creek. The cannabis operation includes cultivation of cannabis on 3.96 acres in existing greenhouses and 0.40 acres of accessory space with water provided by the Carpinteria Water District. 0.82 acres of native habitat restoration will occur within the northeast portion of the site. Fencing in the northeast portion of the Project site will be replaced with three-string barb wire fence to allow for wildlife movement. The Project will also install approximately 0.43 acres of native landscaping along the access road that is within the environmentally sensitive habitat buffer.
