Document Description
The San Joaquin Field Division will excavate the BVPP waterline at two locations west of and one location east of the California Aqueduct at MM252.01. The existing Buena Vista waterline supports the daily operations of the Buena Vista Pumping Plant and Plains Oil Operation Center, in addition to providing fire suppression. The San Joaquin Field Division is responsible for the maintenance and daily operation of the water line. However, the waterline has degraded to the point that leaks are occurring on a near daily basis and emergency repairs must take place immediately to ensure the continued operation and full function of the Buena Vista Pumping Plant and Plains Oil Operation Center.
