The project proposes to demolish portions of existing buildings, construct new buildings, modernize and reconfigure buildings, upgrade outdoor facilities and security, and reconfigure the parking lot. The project would also provide new administrative and faculty offices as well as new classrooms and support spaces but would not increase the capacity of the school. The project would avoid all impacts to Griff Creek and associated riparian vegetation and the intermittent drainage along Deer Street.
Under Class 14, the project is exempt because it would add minor improvements to the campus, such as improving traffic circulation, recreation facilities, and emergency access throughout the site, but would not increase student capacity at the school by more than 25%.
