The project would provide new administrative and faculty offices as well as a new library six additional classrooms, girls' locker room, student common area for gathering and support spaces for staff and students. With the additional six classrooms, the maximum capacity of the school would increase by approximately 131 students or 10%. The on-site fire protection system would be modified to adapt to the new layout including installation of new hydrants and fire department connections. Modernization will take place throughout the campus and include sustainability updates to existing facilities including low flow plumbing fixtures, LEd lighting and recycling facilities.
Replace existing modular buildings with permanent site-built construction, to improve seismic safety at the campus.
Add minor improvements to the campus, such as improving traffic circulation, recreation facilities, and emergency access throughout the site, but would not increase student capacity at the school by more than 25% and would fewer than 10 classrooms.
