The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an immediate repair of multiple roadway structural failures on State Route (SR) 4 at postmile (PM) 22.0 and 23.6 in Alpine County, resulting from a recent storm. The purpose of the project is to maintain highway safety. The need of this project is to immediately protect the traveled way from further structural damage.
