- Document Description
- Tuolumne Road North serves as a major collector route between the Tuolumne Town site and the community of Twain Harte. Two four-foot deep sinkholes under the Tuolumne Road North opened up during a storm, undermining the asphalt in the southbound lane in both locations. County crews removed the compromised pavement, excavated and dewatered the sinkholes, temporarily stabilized the roadway with rock and cold path. The proposed project includes the emergency work previously completed, and further road stabilization measures, including the paving of the road surface.
