Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) pursuant to California Health and Safety Code section 25200 approved the Hazardous Waste Facility Post Closure Permit for Westside Disposal Facility (Facility). This Post-Closure Permit is a permit renewal. DTSC issued the initial Post-Closure Permit on January 17, 1992, which was renewed on June 28, 2006 and expired on June 28, 2016. The Facility stopped receiving hazardous waste in 1985. The closure plan for the Facility was approved in April 1991, and DTSC accepted closure certification in April 1992. Facility was certified closed by DTSC with waste remaining in place in compliance with the Closure Plan.
