- The Project converts existing potable irrigation systems to those capable of disturbing recycled water. The Project will result in water savings and improved water management. Water savings will be realized through elimination of the imported and local groundwater requirements at dedicated landscape irrigation sites by connecting their irrigation systems to Rancho California Water District's (RCWD/District) existing recycled water infrastructure. Water management at the sites will be improved through irrigation efficiency enhancements including the installation of modern irrigation technologies. All rate-payers within Rancho California Water District's service area will benefit from the Project.
