The project includes a total of ten encroachments. Three encroachments are for water diversion, two from unnamed tributaries to Salmon Creek, and the third from an off-stream pond. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The seven other proposed encroachments are to upgrade road/stream crossings and minimize erosion. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
