- Department of Fish and WIldlife is proposing to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0227-R5. The Applicant proposes to alter six streambeds, all tributary to the Santa Clara River. These streambeds will be maintained free of vegetation to allow for an improved flow pattern. When necessary, minor sediment removal will also occur. These activities will occur once annually at most. Hand cutting, tractor mowing, or the use of an aquatic approved herbicide will be used to remove vegetation on the bottom or base of the streambeds. The vegetation on the channel slopes and banks of the streambeds shall remain intact.
