The PG&E Caribou 2 Penstock Slope Protection - Phase 2 Project is an erosion control and drainage improvement project at a hydroelectric generating facility. The project consists of providing erosion mitigation measures at various slope areas adjacent to the Caribou 2 Penstock using air-placed fiber-reinforced lining, or "shotcrete." Phase 2 includes placement of 365 sq. ft. of shotcrete to line a channel of a ravine approx. 50 feet east of the penstock. The project also includes culverts, a ditch and road improvements to address problematic erosion at the site.
