DTSC pursuant to authority granted under the CA Health and Safety Code, Ch. 6.8, Sections 25187 and 25200.10 approved a Statement of Basis for a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Remedy Selection for the former Eaton Corporation (Eaton) Facility. The Statement of Basis summarized the findings from the previous RCRA Facility Assessment (RFA), (RCRA Facility Investigation Reports (RFIs), Interim Measures (IMs), Corrective Measures Study (CMS), and recommended excavation of residual chlorinated solvent contaminated soil, monitored natural attenuation (MNA) for residual contaminated ground water and institutional controls.
