Note: Review Per Lead The Draft Housing Element represents an update to the current housing element found in the Shasta County GP. California requires all local jurisdictions to adopt a housing element as part of their GP, and to revise this document as appropriate but not less than every five years. The Draft Housing Element has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Gov Code sections 65580-65589.8 and updates the current housing element of the Shasta County GP, last prepared in 2010. The Draft Housing Element is designed to address the county's housing needs for the 2014-2019 planning period.
