The city of Cloverdale is proposing a Cannabis Land Use Ordinance to consider a range of land uses related to the cannabis industry. The ordinance will regulate all commercial cannabis businesses operating in the city of Cloverdale in a manner that mitigates potential negative impacts, prevents cannabis from reaching minors or the illicit market, preserves public health and safety, protects the environment, and implements the city's general plan. If adopted, the Cannabis Ordinance will adopt a new chapter 18.15 to title 18, zoning, of the Cloverdale Municipal code so that all cannabis regulations are contained in the same location.
