This Land Use Plan Amendment for a 1,318 acre project area encompassing three sub-areas: 1) Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, 2) Western Hills Open Space, and 3) the McCosker Parcel, along with the 240-acre Huckleberry Regional Preserve. Project recommendations include two main components: 1)McCosker sub-area creek restoration and enhancement; and 2) recreation and public access improvements. The recreation and public access improvements include six main elements: 1) improvements to existing staging areas, 2) improvements to existing park roadways, 3) bridge installation, 4) trail system expansion, 5) recreation facility development, and 6) improvements to utility infrastructure.
