Document Description
The proposed project will upgrade the existing water distribution system in the Arden Service Area to meet current fire protection standards and also comply with AB2572 by installing individual water meters. A total of 38 miles of pipeline will be installed, 260 fire hydrants will be installed or replaced and 3,010 water meters will be installed throughout the service area. The project will be designed and constructed in phases due to limitations in funding. Each phase of construction is expected to take approx 4-5 months, but duration could vary depending on the size of the phase. The first phase, is currently in design and is slated for construction in late 2017 or early 2018. Phase 1A consists of a portion of the Sierra Oaks and Arden Park neighborhoods.
