- The Parkway Drive and Alvarado Road Trunk Sewer Phase 3 upgrade project primarily involves the replacement by trenchless or open trench installation of approx 5,274 ft of existing sewer pipelines within the city of La Mesa. The pipelines are located within public ROW and easements along both the north and south sides of I-8 and in a developed section of Alvarado Canyon. The pipelines will cross beneath I-8 in a perpendicular direction in two locations and therefore will require an Encroachment Permit from Caltrans.
