Project includes: 1. General Plan Amendment affecting the City's General Plan Land Use Element to (a) change the land use designation for Sites 1-5 from Urban Activities Center (UAC) to Residential Community (RC); (b) change the land use designation for Site 6 from portions Open Space or portions UAC to entirely OS; and (c) delete the UAC land use designation, including related narrative and one implementation measure. 2. A Zoning Code Amendment affecting various portions of the Laguna Woods Municipal Code to (a) delete the UAC zoning district, and (b) establish a new Residential Community - Maintenance (RC-MT) Zoning Overlay district. The Residential Community - Maintenance (RC-MT) Zoning Overlay district. The Residential Community - Maintenance (RC-MT) Zoning Overlay, including permitted and prohibited uses, is available at City Hall. 3. Zone Changes affecting the City's Zoning Map to (a) change the zoning district for Sites 1-5 from UAC to RC with RC-MT Zoning Overlay district, and (b) change the zoning district from Site 6 from portions Open Space Recreation and portions UAC to entirely Open Space-Recreation.
